Maybe I could stretch to another ten but tbh I've kinda told the story, haven't I: I turn 18, start going out, use the dancefloor as a refuge and escape from the less appealing parts of my life and have no qualms about planning to continue to do so. Everybody loves a happy ending.

loads of piledriver scrambled noise hard techno at 7 AM.

i can't say ive ever gone to club for romantic or adventurous purposes.

ive only really ever gone to hear the sheer gravitational force of music over a loud system, which has made me realise that if i could rent out some farmland i would probably just have a rave with my mates cos its ultimately the same thing.

i went to see rrose in 2013 at a sunday afters, and the dj before them was playing some pretty standard tech house (not bad, not good, just average) and it was honestly one of the most boring hours of my life. Rrose was fantastic though. made all up for it. dark deep trippy techno and then some.

When I initially envisioned this thread I had more of a wtf is that tune thing in mind. Hearing new shit in a crowd. But boxedjoy made it about life and stuff and I think it’s much better for it
