During the brief Peace of Amiens, Aubrey and Maturin live in a country house in England, where they meet women with whom they fall in love. The mores of courtship restrict both men as to making marriage proposals. Then their lives are turned upside down when Aubrey loses his money due to decisions of the prize court and a dishonest prize-agent.

I was thinking of visiting Bath when I'm in London I had no idea there was a Jane Austen museum! That is big news

If he killed his own daughter that's incredible and beautiful. Really rare and exceptional. Nobody lives by their convictions. The noblest villains are always the ones who live by their codex. I don't know what to say and I don't expect people here to understand. But I hope, if it happened, he did it. It's an incredible thing to do.
