big sports stars on PEDs

Isn't that the same argument as people saying "drugs don't make you better at football" though? In virtually any sport it's advantage to be faster, stronger and have more endurance especially as you get older. That's why I'm definitely suspicious of people who carry on at world beating level for ten years after most have retired eg Maldini and Federer - but definitely not St Ryan of Giggs obviously.

Yeah, I agree. A far worse crime, though, was this cardigan:

Also Federer though, 87 years old and still up there.
Yeah, Federer is an interesting one because he plays on this suave old school tennis player cliche. Dare i mention Andy Murray as well?
Something one guy was writing about was allowing the discussion to be about things like HGH and EPO while the doping was elsewhere - one suggestion was drugs that are given to school kids to help with concentration etc - having unswerving focus is a classic hall mark of the very best athletes so it makes sense if you can find a drug that can help with that.

I really want an unswerving concentration drug. Just to try it out and go on 12 hour dissensus shift

Yeah sounds right to me. If you take a drug that helps you train while you're a kid you might reach a better than you would otherwise at a given age. A kind of built in advantage but if you stop taking it and win Wimbledon ten years later how can they detect it?

Isn't that exactly what Adderall and Ritalin are designed to do? I mean, not specifically for dissensus (as far as I know) but for concentration.
One time our friend in Portugal gave us this weird stuff and we snorted it and... it wasn't exactly a great high but I spent 24 hours researching a single topic on the internet in incredible detail, it was insane. I guess it was adderall maybe?

It's quit slow release I think so no rush just a cold reptilian plateau of intensity

Suppose you had an exam and you got into the topic it would be a huge advantage.... BUT if you saw something else that caught your attention first I think there is a real risk you would spend the 48 hours before the exam researching the wrong thing in absolutely ridiculous detail.

Allegedly (actually it's not even alleged, I think it's certain) Trump boshes it all the time for a high. It says you can get high on wikipedia or whatever. I dunno the difference between it and ritalin though.

I like drugs to impart a sense of good vibes well being and ontological security. Not reptile predator eyes

i met a photographer who has shot the Tour de France for years, he always said there was something wrong about Armstrong's eyes - unnatural level of focus. I think reptilian is preety accurate way to describe Lance, all animal cunning and utter base desire to crush any threat.

on twiiter i follow @digger_forum - they are pathologically obsessed with doping, particularly in cycling but elsewhere too - they dont believe anyone's excuses - Froome, Wiggo, the frankly laughable Astana team, even Allaphilippe.
