Finding it hard to dig up dirt on Biden and Harris
so here's a question: do people change, and are we allowed to change our opinion of them? just using biden as an example: he's been in government for nearly 40 years and done shitty/evil things at various points, but is it narrow-minded to think he currently believes everything he did 10, 20, 30 years ago and would handle situations in the same way today?

I'm not defending biden, just using him as an example. do any of us still believe in everything we did or said 10, 20, 30 years ago?
I think this is a good point and people do change and should not necessarily be judged on their past misdeeds. Even @craner ‘sbrief dalliance with satanic neoliberal think tanks can be forgiven in time.

But. Biden isn’t your Uncle Larry who drank and said too much that one time. He now has more capacity for enacting badness than anyone else on the planet. Generally you don’t get to be POTUS if you completely reject this sort of behaviour.

So it’s not really about him and his record, it’s about what he does now. Which will be a mixture of ok and really really bad. Probably.
