So, question re Trump and the Georgia run-off - how far does it have to go before Trump's refusal to accept defeat starts to look like a liability?

it's a gamble, hard to tell. since the GOP needs the trump base to remain motivated and come out and vote in that Georgia run off, they are reluctant to criticize trump or congratulate biden on his win. but at the same time, the prolonged lunacy of Rudy and his lawsuits could turn off more moderate republicans in Georgia and cause them to stay home for January's vote. at this point, I don't think anyone really knows who has the bigger Georgia numbers: trump base or more normal republicans. and will the prolonged lunacy act as a motivating factor for Dem voters.

I saw someone on Twitter suggesting that there was still a way to get Trump as winner of Georgia - if enough people write his name in for the senate race then he could win it that way. i think that was a democrat trying to trick them into spoiling their ballots in the senate race but it's slightly more plausible than things saying "Oh the election has been put back a week".

I'm reading "dismissed with prejudice" which apparently means case is totally dead with no chance of appeal etc so Pennsylvania can/will certify Monday.

What the judge did to Giuliani was more savage than that...
Anyway, as I understand it, when Georgia and Penn certify, Biden has won the election regardless of any GOP fuckery in Michigan or any other swing state.

So some Republicans have started bowing to the inevitable at last
Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA): “President Trump has exhausted all plausible legal options to challenge the result of the presidential race in Pennsylvania. ... I congratulate President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victory.”

Could happen, I've certainly seen them used by people who have been cancelled so they're guilty by association, plus they are clearly a phallic symbol often used in a stridently masculine way to promulgate the masculine hegemony.

Have you seen that the Trump campaign have issued a statement distancing themselves from Sidney Powell and saying she is not their lawyer? Too crazy for Trump!
