Plato as well tbf but by the time he was writing it was very impolitic to admit to liking Spartans

the "corrupting youth" charges against Socrates being to do exactly with him teaching Athenian elite youth to prefer Sparta

or effecting that outcome, anyway

some of his other students prominently figured in the two bloody pro-Sparta, anti-democratic Athenian oligarchies at the end of the Peloponnesian War
