I still find shops difficult. Cafes. Formal, structured interactions can make me sweat sometimes. Parties I simply won't go to. I can't operate under those conditions

& to be fair he was not at all in his element, i'd dragged him well outside of his comfort zone,

as someone pointed out here fairly recently: some of us and and some aren't cut out for office life

or maybe none of us are cut out for it but we're prepared to wear that false face
