Smartphone addiction

What I would like is an MP3 player that was connected to 4G, or even just WiFi, that you could house Spotify and Audible on. A lot of the time I'll only take my phone out with me cos I want to listen to music or podcasts. All the other stuff is the real time suck.

I haven't made that leap yet, carrying around the phone and the battery separately, and connecting them when I need to use it. But I can see where that could be handy.

I believe its correct that removing smartphone batteries voids some, if not all, of the warranties. Interesting. As if you are being dissuaded from eviscerating the phone, as if it is a sort of satellite limb, and you wouldn't want to eviscerate part of your body, now would you?

Your dumb phone recommendations please. I see some have whatsapp built in. they also come with facebook but i barely use it and imagine the browsing experience so bad that i wouldnt even be tempted

cheapest nokia from argos

nobody cares about you or your update they wont notice you have left the network.

true. but whatsapp would be good because its the default text service now, and the ability to receive whatsapp on the go is useful. even with a t9 keyboard, at least you can whack out a few words, ring if needed

Good point. The sheer inconvenience of those double/triple tap keyboards is enough to dissuade someone from spending much time on the phone.

this runs basic WhatsApp, MP3 player, GPS, maps etc on a hard as fuck chassis with shit t9 keyboard. Might be what we need. Proper no frills man phone
