Desire perhaps being figured as the fuel of "causal intention", a sort of restlessness that somnambulistically propels the psyche.
edit: propels it toward some kind of surplus value or whatnot. Hence all of the confused assertions that the forces themselves are capitalistic. Which isn't to say that the psychic experience necessarily reduces to a capitalistic mechanism. The subject may be subjected to these forces, hence the term "subject", but such a subjection does not necessarily seem ineluctable. Desubjectification in this sense is seemingly the task, at least partially, of many if not all enlightenment projects.
I assumed the elroy idea was more about acknowledging some form of moral good in following or maybe channelling desire and fantasy, what your body and mind is telling you through these feelings, signals .... cast way these ideas of original sin and embrace your animalistic narcissitic energies rather than trying to block them
my assumption is that there are irresolvable tensions and contradictions built into life on earth.
but whether those operate moment to moment, or even have any relevance at a moment to moment level is
another matter isnt it.
