Last night’s show - fully mastered here. Thanks to Chris Bailiff of Position Normal who gave a little interview and sent his guest mix over by Volvo from Malmo - with a combination of some of his favourite sentimental tunes and snippets of new Position Normal material to be released soon. My own selector contributions included, some ambient country noodlings, Persian piano, nuJA, collage, drone, avant-cumbia, Prestwick medical advice, Afro-club and Crazy Titch.

I never heard of position normal but his mix is excellent, particularly this kinks tune I never heard before

Wistful california vibes but they are not there, so it's got that yearn. Like syd barrett but not as fey.

Last night’s Crazy Stitch show where I got Carl Stone on for an interview and guest mix. Speaking from his Tokyo home, we discussed his latest work, the effect of lockdown, our favourite Adele song, radio, and his approach to finding samples. His mix is pretty stunning. In my own bit, I played some Ayres, Carti, Yoshimura, Clef, D, Bisengalieva, Calix and Dawid - get stuck in

My contribution to Repeater-Radio.com’s Halloween weekend. The show starts off with a 30 minute hauntology sound piece, I originally made/performed in Berlin in 2011 but updated for this. For the rest-there’s the usual mix across the genres, with strange, woozy or horror themes. With me trying new tech, there’s also some ropey mixing/basic disc jockey mistakes, which all add to the unheimlich feel of it all.

Here’s the recording of last night’s show - back to the usual format - went through some twisted soul, baile funk, new drill, classic techno & garage, UK funky, raï, kwaito, dub metal, Kerry noise, new age, sound art and some live Hackney fireworks at the start.

Friday night’s Crazy Stitch playback - quite a beats-driven show with some techno, amapiano, baile funk, footwork, instrumental grime and batida. But there’s also lots of other stuff in there - give it a listen (well, it’s up to you obviously)32E1884C-CB20-44E2-BBEC-DDC04AB4BB82.jpeg
