Company I worked at a while back sent a bunch of us to one as a jolly. It was actually quite good fun. The puzzles were contrived as hell, obviously, but were well thought out and fairly taxing.

They seem insane to me. What if it turned out to be a human trafficking thing and they didn't let you out again? Didn't some couple get murdered in an escape room in Prague?

it's also a dirty breeding ground for germs with all those people touching the walls and the objects and all.

imagine your flat is next door to an escape room and 24/7 you're hearing these muffled noises of dirty office people touching the walls with their babyskin hands.

i don't have any obsessions with cleaning or germs or anything like that. i just that i think spots that are visited very frequently like the mcdonalds, or escape rooms, or offices are stinky and dirty.
