Just made a Julep & Tonic, and I'm only just now starting to realize that tonic water can work with (almost?) any hard liquor.

1 oz Bourbon muddled with mint
3 oz tonic water
garnish with mint sprig

Last week I made a Scotch & Tonic, and it was also pretty good.

I have since tried a variation with angostura bitters, and a variation with muddled nectarine.

Last night I invented another one:

The Auspicium

1 oz gin
1 oz dry vermouth
1 dash sage simple syrup
1/2 egg white
