Campari is my favorite. Don't think I've tried it with tonic though. Sounds good.
since campari is tart and bitter, the uncleanliness of tonic works better, IMHO.its more cloying. i like the cleaness of soda
all the time. all day every day until mid september. but im not english.don't English people drink Pimm's cups? while sitting around in their tennis whites, or after their polo match?
Years ago I was invited to a co-worker's birthday party/BBQ and had my one and only Pimm's. Just remember it being sickly sweet. Like Luka said, it's fairly weak, but the demographic's not really the 'let's go fucking mental' type.don't English people drink Pimm's cups? while sitting around in their tennis whites, or after their polo match?
They've really nailed their image.hendricks gin for the record
I believe it was mentioned somewhere upthread, but has anyone else tried the Guinness/Cider combo? I tried it at The King's Head in Santa Monica, think it was called a Black Velvet or something to that effect. I remember liking it, but not enough to recommend it based on anything but the sheer novelty, at least in my eyes.
Yeah, and I think Campari's even more. The problem with aperol is its never going to mix better than when ots with gin. A little pricey too
