how does noise cancelling work? seems very unnatural to me.
afaik it works by monitoring the sound coming in and playing the inverse.

I think that means that you're still subject to audible sound waves but your brain interprets their combination as silence.

This weirdness probably causes the dizziness in ppl like me.

Yeah but then why not just buy cheaper headphones that dont have noise cancelling?
I must admit I bought them because they had noise cancelling but the sound quality is reputed to be very good for the price anyway.

I have deep regrets about many pairs of headphones but not these, no, not these.

does that mean the headphones play two sounds at the same time? the music you're playing atm and the inverse of the outside environment?

Oh yeah, another thing about them: they have an internal amp which you can turn off or on, which improves the sound from wow to double-wow.

It monitors the sound outside of the 'phones and plays its inverse. It doesn't battle the music you're listening to.

I love music that's why I won't tolerate the second rate. Love and Laughter I do hate however. Leave that swill for the swine!

it's not your brain. the phase cancellation results in actual physical silence. the weirdness/dizziness you are experiencing is 5G electrical magic @mixed_biscuits
