Data through September indicate that “there is about 65% chance of the global temperature to rank as the warmest on record, with about a 35% chance of it being second warmest,” Ahira Sánchez-Lugo, a climatologist from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, told reporters during a 15 October teleconference.

This stuff creeps me out. I hate the heat. Trying to work while you're sweaty and the sun drains your energy. Having to lather on sunscreen and everyone in hats and sunglasses. Constantly thirsty and irritable. Always feeling ready for a beer garden but never able to go as much as you would like.

If it gets any hotter where I live in the summer I'm fucking dead. Touched 45 a couple of times this year and we've had high 30s since like march.

i remember getting to seville off the train from malaga, it was like late june, and we thought malaga was hot, then we got there, and got off the train, it was like 6pm and was fucking boiling. i though tit was something to do wirth being in the train station but no, you come out and it's even hotter. crazy, totally upside down days, priority was to find somewhere you could breathe in the afternoon. we cluelessly booked an airbnb with just fan no AC it was murder. one day we went across the big bridge to go to the art gallery monastery and there was a point halfway on the bridge where we thought we might not make it.
