95p?? I'm definitely buying this tomorrow. I wonder what other mixtapes have ended up on bandcamp, it's not a site I've ever used

Bandcamp's great. You get access to basically any format you like once you buy a release rather than the old model of specifically buying WAVs or whatever. A bunch of older artists have been uploading their back cat too. The old Ghost recordings from El-B are on there now, the Source Direct 12"s, the Black Secret Technology remasters etc etc.

I started buying music again recently as I was listening to a lot of stuff on YouTube and they've been becoming more and more intrusive of late. I get prompts to make an account, they pause the videos mid-playlist and ask if I want to continue etc. Also I'm much more conscious of supporting the artists, plus if I buy something it doesn't matter if it gets removed from streaming services as I've my own copy. The quality's higher than dealing with YouTube or Spotify compression too.

I do tend to buy CDs though. You can get them for more or less the same price as the flacs, so I just buy the CD so I have a physical copy then either rip it to flac or just listen to flacs I get as an instant download for buying the physical.
