Oh I forgot about the Cathedral, but yeah he said he reappropriated redpill from The Matrix, and I also think he said that the usage of the term went beyond his initial intention, IE he had a tamer reactionary usage of it

I tried finishing this but it just gets too irritating by the end tbh. I can only assume that all the historical Russian stuff they're on about is true, good knowledge recall.

Most of is pretty obvious stuff otherwise, I would have thought - bar the casual racist bits and the fnwar laughs that go with them. People have been banging on about the American establishment being tied into "prestige" media for years. Wasnt that the whole point of Fox News etc in the first place? It's weird that nothing has really moved on apart from knowing about blockchain and a more open dislike of trans stuff.

Quite boring, I'm glad I don't live in America. A real lack of ideas everywhere these days.

The world needs a progressive Northern voice to really shake things up i think

What can we do to help Spendy because the worldmaking, worldshattering Northern voice the world needs, that's what we should all be asking ourselves

@WashYourHands I have become an expert at drawing Celtic knots, I'd like you to know, I picked up the practice so I could decorate pages of my books illuminated manuscript-style, like the Book of Kells, I figure that will be very popular with the downtown scenesters

I have also:
(1) compiled and memorized an extensive vocabulary for different forms of hydrocarbons (from peats to oils to plastics)
(2) learned the difference between brass, copper, and bronze
(3) studied ancient labyrinths as art forms
(4) developed a unique thesis about the Star Wars universe, including a very hot take that the prequels > sequels

triskelions goes back at least 6000 years, 2500 years before what we could view as a Celtic horizon, see Neolithic Newgrange and Knowth

while I largely agree with everything you've said, I think it's a mistake to judge all America by this. Guessing 99.6% of the country has never heard of Red Scare, Dasha Necrowhatshername or this bug dude. they are "influential".

I don't think most of america is like this in the slightest, most americans I've met are sound

Just seems to be a very specific inner turmoil and weak leadership there right now. I guess that applies to a few places though

I find the parallels between Johnson and Trump quite bizarre - both spoiled and overweight compulsive liars with weird blond hair who have never heard the word NO, left a string of inconvenient pregnancies in their wake and who believe so strongly in their god given right to rule that they refuse to accept when they have been beaten, regardless of the damage that does to their country and its constitution, or the party they profess to love - or even to their closest supporters and friends who are stupid/loyal enough to stick with them when the gig is up.

lots of parallels isn't there. they both deal in a certain level of knowingness, irony or whatever when they speak as well. they aren't earnest in the way that eg Cameron, Obama, their predecessors were.

No it's more than that cos there are loads of narcissistic con men that don't have weird yellow hair.

well yes, the yellow/orange hair thing is unique. I also should have specified "lying narcissistic con men", but that's sort of implied.

saw a good Boris reference: "Eton's greatest mess".
