Just was in morro bay, spending some time all around san luis Obispo. beautiful. whatd you get into when growing up there?
No kidding. How long you there for?

Sunset Drive-In is a must-hit if anything stomachable is playing.

Its a small town so not a bunch to do. Bum around downtown, hang in the ag zones, go on hikes. Bishop's Peak and Madonna Mountain have some good trails. Our local record shop Boo-Boos punches a bit above our town's weight class.

Oh and make sure to hit Montana de Oro. Not far from Morro Bay, beautiful bluffs that extend up to the massive sand dunes in Pismo Beach and Grover.

Was just there for a few days visiting my sister at cal poly. Cant remember the names of much of what I did but had alot of fun. Went whale watching on a massive cliff face jutting out 100 yards into the ocean. The inland backdrop looked like south America.
SLO reminded me a bit of the stylish Marfa-Alpine-Marathon connection in west texas where every building coheres to a clean uniform aesthetic and there seems to be some municipal body ensuring no garish advertisement or developments sully the look.

Also saw some lovely seals and otters.
