There's something about the space in this music, saying it's lo fi feels like the wrong description.

It's more that it's so simple structurally, with very plaintive, emotional vocals, with a lot of bending of tones going on, and a lot of space where you hear the fuzz. Absolutely love it.

Yeah I love that one too actually, 31 seconds, had it on a tape in my car for years. It reminds me of being stoned in the morning and listening to it on tinny speakers.

Although this remix is a bit full on, the original, or at least the one I had, was very mellow.

Made a mix for the car the other day which was one tune of a fka twigs album (magdalene) then one tune of a ramleh album (hole in the heart) but my wife kept skipping all the ramleh tunes.

Some ramleh is pretty gothy and Gary mundy also had this side project band, breathless, who were full on goth, sort of my bloody valentine vibe

there were 2 goth girls at my college, & there was a crusty pub, a folkie pub and a biker pub, but no goth pub, so theyd go to the regular pubs and stand out like they were in fancy dress but maybe that's what they preferred
