Goth is invented early 90s by DJ Muggs then it moves to the east coast and really finds its feet with mobb deep and wu tang clan
Always loved the art for III (Temples of Boom). It's how I picture the abandoned city in that Borges story I was on about earlier, The Immortal.

Yeah I love that one too actually, 31 seconds, had it on a tape in my car for years. It reminds me of being stoned in the morning and listening to it on tinny speakers.

Although this remix is a bit full on, the original, or at least the one I had, was very mellow.

Tricky on his muggs produced album, with "mad dog" on the vocals. aka bionic from iconic early hip hop crew London posse

pandemic gothic

Made a mix for the car the other day which was one tune of a fka twigs album (magdalene) then one tune of a ramleh album (hole in the heart) but my wife kept skipping all the ramleh tunes.

Some ramleh is pretty gothy and Gary mundy also had this side project band, breathless, who were full on goth, sort of my bloody valentine vibe
