Must admit I'm not altogether sure of whether it's a melodica for sure.... but I imagine he might do, and it's such a unique sound.

Was gonna say young marble giants but i think they used a trad organ.

Albarn used one in Gorrillaz I think but the piece that popped into my head first (after Pablo) was this Steve Reich bit from early on in his career

There were a couple of Augustus Pablo imitators in reggae too. Glen Brown and that Dr Pablo from On-U Sound.

Depeche Mode also used it I think? Hold on...
