Also I understand what people up thread have been staying about the procalamatory nayie. It sounds and reads like what I would call proper poetry.

And I'm interested in how he capitalises the names I fx the Chinese emperors and uses abbreviations for World anc should (wd and sd)

I skipped all the Chinese history stuff, really really boring. The American stuff I also found boring, but all the classical Greek and Italian Renaissance stuff at the beginning is incredible. The Pisan cantos are hardgoing but worth putting in the effort. Needed a rest for a while after reading those.

Bad idea imo. Rewind to the beginning and read the first 16 cantos or whatever it is that make up the first section.
