Yes,
@Roobric absolutely love Chronic Law's low-slung monotone flow!
It actually took me a while to get into the 6ixx crew material, it didn't seem as immediate to me as Skillibeng, Intence etc when I started getting into this music about a year ago, but I love them now - Squash, along with artists like Rygin King, Jahvilliani etc really laid the foundation for all the trap dancehall to come since then (2018/2019ish, when I wasn't paying attention). I think it's the kind of stuff that you appreciate more when you're already an initiate rather than coming to it new, more subtle maybe, but genre-defining - at the absolute centre of 'trap dancehall'
That kind of housestyle rippling autotune effect they all use on the vocals (what Kit Mackintosh is calling 'bubble voice') is brilliant, combined with all the pitch-shifting and big reverbs etc
Like, that Racketeer tune I posted - at first I thought it was a bit meh, but it's crept up on me and it's probably my favourite tune of the year now.
