Impressed with Charly Black on that version. Sea Waves is great too

I had a pair of Clarks desert chukkas before I knew their cultural import in JA. Unfortunately they shredded my ankles and the soles wore out within months. This was about 15 years ago though, so they may have changed (I'd hope so at 200 euros!)

Anyone been paying attention to Grim YG? I liked this spin on the 6ix sound but can't remember if I've heard him before:

His new ones very Alkaline. Like it though.

I've been really out of touch with dancehall pretty much all summer, have I missed much?

That is pretty bizarre, yeah, but Last Last really does work as a riddim, I should revisit the Skilli

I haven't been paying attention much either, but this Intence tune just came out and it's brilliant...you might even like it Luka

Corpsey

bandz ahoy
all people do in art galleries is snap a pic and move on.
not me, i stand there with my hands behind my back, occasionally walking closer to the canvas and peering intently at some obscure corner

and sure i don't know what i'm looking at but hopefully some of those art gallery girls are watching and thinking

'this guy fucks'

tate modern and that kind of thing yes and its distracting. actual galleries no not really. different clientele. sophisticated people like me and corpsey would never take pictures.

it's weird isn't it, like they're only there so they can show people they're there
I get the impulse for sure, if I'm watching something cool I feel the urge to put ten seconds of it on insta. it feels gross doing it though. but sometimes it prompts people to get in contact which i like. and the usual less noble motivations for putting things on social media of course.

these skillibeng vids though it's like half the people there are videoing whole tunes, it's a bit harder to relate to that. but you know. fair enough. that's part of what it is.
