I was gonna say in reply to rich, why not garage? (I don't even know at an IBM beat sounds like. Really)

If you want something that can mix with electro and is also proper rnb (via Atlanta/Miami bass) and fun, why not have a go on something like this?

My boo must have got played by garage djs at the time, surely?

semi footwork/juke mix from gantman:

Thanks will check when home.
I've evolved from being interested in checking out sault (due to the media/hipster hype) to not caring for sault to actively disliking sault. they now annoy me, for most of the reasons you mentioned @rubberdingyrapids but also because of the pitchfork fanboy element.
I love the idea of going through this whole evolution without ever needing to listen to them.

Even I know that one.
But r&b as a rule is a closed book to me. There are probably loads of stone cold classics I've never even heard. Only thing is, there are some I see people loving that totally mystify me. Of course that happens with any genre... but not as much.

hows it weird? its just some vocal house
Maybe it's not the song itself that's weird, more the sensation of how many times we have been here before? Would have fitted right in with the early Rinse FM Pop era.

Whatever, it's definitely a good song, I've just had it on again and I liked it better the second time.
