Full legalisation within a few key compounds excluding benzos - if you achieved that the benzo market would collapse. It’s grown exponentially every year for ages and one toxic enough on individuals and society to reduce by other measures.

Have a nose at the work of John Marks in Liverpool, then imagine this nationally

Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
There was a right weirdo who briefly posted here years ago, called lanugo, who maintained very strongly that millions of traumatized, addicted or depressed people shouldn't receive psychedelic therapy because it would somehow undermine the authenticity of his psychedelic experiences. I also remember him ranting about "degenerate art".

We have 10’s of thousands of highly traumatised people related to Covid19, yet we have an establishment that can’t fund an institution like the NHS fully in peace time.
Think some would argue it's less a case of can't and more a case of won't.

This is one of the things this thread is about. How do people find themselves occupying those kinds of positions. You get dragged into these gravity fields and can't escape.

Here's obviously some very large space objects with big gravitational pull and if you get too close you can get captured. John Eden was saying when he reads far right racist tracts he always has some anti racist literature with him, and jumps back and forward between them to prevent being captured in this way.

is not like other people

People often use the word 'attractor' in this context
DeLanda uses it later in that interview I quoted earlier,

WALK SOFTLY AND CARRY A LITTLE LAND

As they say, they key word here is not wisdom, but caution. You don’t know what happens at bifurcations. You have absolutely no control. The smallest fluctuation can make things go wrong. The predictive power of humans and technology is nil near bifurcations. All you can do is approach carefully, because the last thing you want to do is get swallowed up by a chaotic attractor that’s too huge in phase space. As Deleuze says, “Always keep a piece of fresh land with you at all times.” Always keep a little spot where you can go back to sleep after a day of destratification. Always keep a small piece of territory, otherwise you’ll go nuts.

That DeLanda bit about the Nazis again,

FLOWING DOWN THE BLACK HOLE

I just saw the Doors movie. Jim Morrison just tried to break on through to the other side too fast, thinking that all you had to do was take more and more acid. When you can’t break through anymore, when you bounce off it, you become resentful and turn to death. You won’t find that world of purity that you were expecting, and now you become resentful and turn against yourself, turn suicidal. Deleuze and Guattari call it a black hole. You enter the wrong attractor. The 60’s were extremely destratifying, and yet, because they thought they were going to achieve everything within the 60’s – and what they wanted was not achievable, period – fringes of this motion went into the wrong track. Then you have the Weathermen, completely pathetic terrorists blowing themselves up. That’s that impatience and resentment that Deleuze and Guattari warn about.

That is a good interview . He’s been proven right with that idea of tripping as destratification too. Was he on that first?
