lobster is a funny one: most expensive item on the menu, but essentially a bottom-feeding sea cockroach.

Never tried Lobster but catch a few Crayfish, like a mini Lobster. They're an invasive species so it's illegal to put them back. You have to kill them.

the other thing about lobster is the cooking method: dropping live ones into a pot of boiling water. the ultimate cruelty, at least other fish or animals are already dead before reaching the restaurant or market. some seafood restaurants here have a big fish tank, and you can select the live lobster that will be on your dinner plate a half-hour later.

I know right?! It's pretty much the most expensive seafood you can get I think so it'll probably just a mouthful - not even sure which part you're supposed to eat. Having oysters tonight as well gonna be fucking amazing (unless I die of food poisoning)
