They call it COVID 19

We don't know enough about human cell biology to fully trust how these vaccines and gene therapies behave in vivo in any timeframe longer than a few months, and the corporations making them are not to be trusted in the best of times. It's not unreasonable to conclude curia advisari vult.

go ahead, get your shot, but bear in mind once it's in, you can't take it out. Myocarditis shows up quickly, prion diseases take years. I've more faith in an immune system fine tuned over at least 200,000 years than some fiat medicine cooked up with shareholders the first concern, my health way down the list

Funny how people know that the government can mess up buying a few crates of PPE but nevertheless are in complete command of something infinitely more complex.

For example, spike protein vaccines appear to be effective at preventing lung injury, but much less effective than nucleocapsid vaccines (whole virus vaccine) at preventing damage to brain tissues. It's almost as if we don't fully understand how these things work, or why, and hasty solutions might do more harm than good on people who would otherwise be fine.

Maybe because it's universities and pharma companies, and not "the government", that develop vaccines?

Yes, the vaccines the pharma companies won't guarantee financially.

And the universities that fix the drugs trials.

there's truth to some of that, and I doubt anyone would completely disagree with it. we calculate levels of risk every day. 40,000-50,000 people here die each year in auto accidents, yet we all get in cars every day. we each weigh the risk and act accordingly.

Happened to me twice early into it last year
I'm aware some people are lucky like that. What I find puzzling is Mr IQ's certainty that he's in this group, and not the group that would still be suffering from chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, diarrhoea etc. a year later.

COVID side-effects prove more virulent than the full blown condition
Where is that ?
I see some posters are hung up on the UK's situ, ok fine that's nature of the site.

Otherwise, over the entire planet 1 million dead is pretty virulent wouldn't one say ?
Seeing the difference of after effects surely affects one's opinion and why not -
hearing about the effects of the Astra Zeneca shot for example.

Here we got the Pfizer or Moderna shots, and while some have mentioned feeling a bit off or woozy upon the second shot, haven't heard first hand or read of much more then that.
I might be wary of shots too if choice was A Z.

I made this thread more to be clear of the sillyness on the other COVID thread.
And if someone doesn't want the shot , so be it, to each their own biz.
Def nor here to argue about it.
Anyone up on what's going on in India ?
30,000 new cases some days and i doubt they are arguing about it
