you get that in really early jungle eh? 4/4 808 kick and less of a half-time pulse. the contrasting/complimentary motions of smooth forward bouncing + ricocheting breaks. This is like literal "jungle techno". I like the rooted sound.
3-4min length was just an idea from me, not recommendation!
Well, shit... after a crash course in gain staging, it appears if you are operating in the purely digital realm, as long as you avoid any clipping... the headroom issue is not a big one. Nevertheless, I've enjoyed learning about the mastering requirements, and now have everything set to -6db headroom as good practice.
this feels like the strongest proposition of the three just bc the breakbeat is the glue for itSo here's a third tune to consider. Note: I am not trying to get three tunes on the comp, or even two! It's just another option in case people like it better than the others.
Argh! I'd already decided to use Poppies but now you've made me doubt myself.this feels like the strongest proposition of the three just bc the breakbeat is the glue for it
thought my another tab I have in the background started playing popol vuh!!
here's the guitar part by itself
I think jungle techno was still very breakbeat-oriented (except Basement releases), whereas your tune even more techno-y Been thinking to do "literal jungle techno", which would be fast techno with jungle's melodic-side and bass, but not with breakbeats. Jungle's melodic-side has still alot of untapped potential, and it's pretty unique sound with it's rootedness and organicness, compared to say, trance or techno.you get that in really early jungle eh? 4/4 808 kick and less of a half-time pulse. the contrasting/complimentary motions of smooth forward bouncing + ricocheting breaks.
Love, love, love the guitar solo version. Less is more.

anyone with a free slot on neon hospice on wednesday?kind of live interaction possible while we listen. Anyone have any ideas about that? Zoom? Twitch? Never done anything like that before but it could be good fun
anyone with a free slot on neon hospice on wednesday?
otherwise zoom is perfectly fine in my opinion, has decent audio quality and so on.
or if you perhaps want to go with the gen z-friendly option, discord might be decent for this kind of thing as well I suppose
also:
it might be worth clearing out if late submissions are accepted, since the listening part is two days away from tomorrow
