This is awful. Eriksen's collapsed and they've been trying to resuscitate him on the pitch with all the Danish players stood around to shield him from the cameras.

Or let's say England stifled them, they weren't great but it's encouraging that Pickford didn't have to make a save as I recall.

England actually looked like a team though, rather than a bunch of useless overpaid "superstars".

They looked sharp for the first twenty minutes or so and for a bit after the goal, but it wasn't a great game. The vertical passes and quick turns dropped off and they became too conservative. Apparently it was quite hot though, so I can't be too harsh on them for slowing down. They obviously weren't gonna be able to sustain that kind of performance for the full 90.

Yeah I think it was good overall, not Brazil 1970 but they were the better team against the world cup finalists (albeit diminished), they scored and hit the post and had a couple of other decent sights of goal and restricted Croatia to scraps. I think the problem is they started so well that the rest of the game had to be disappointing... tidy all the way, Sterling lively as always for England and scored too... Philips was great, Mings solid, Walker defended well if his distribution was a bit haphazard. Kane was the only really bad performer.

I had the same thought....
At the other end of the football machine, I think there is a chance that Bellingham might be something special.

What does it mean?
It's showing you England's passing pattern for the game. The thicker the line, the greater the number of passes. What you're seeing is most of England's passing being between the two centre backs and down the left flank.
