OK, I did read about it, wondered if it might be that. Is it good then? If it is I will try and watch it somehow. Was just worried that it was one of those things the Guardian wants to pretend is good cos it's so right on but, when you watch it, you discover it really really isn't. Of course though, there is no reason why it shouldn't be good, when I used to teach maths in East London, one thing I discovered was that - despite all the advertising - Muslim teenagers are exactly the same horrible little wankers as all teenagers everywhere. We used to have some great arguments, they knew that if they could suck me into a religious debate then maths would be off the table for the rest of the period.... and let's be honest, I found that more interesting than doing what I was supposed to be doing too.
But the point is, there is room for something that doesn't tread on eggshells, just treats people as people first, gets it the right way round.

i loved it. shame it was only 6 episodes though. felt like it needed more to it to flesh it out.
