Zombies

Queen GH is one apparently the-ultimate-zombie-album = seems fair enough since those tunes are now like universally known, if not hugely beloved, everyone knows the words etc

Fleetwood the Chain is a zombie anthem, transcended the group and now has a life of it's own, albeit a little green around the gills and would feast on yr brains if it had the chance

more recently, hah! NGGYU is an obvious one, a disgusting stealth zomby pouncing on unexpected memesters - Phil collin's in the air seems to have clambered out from beyond the grave more than once, kill it til it's dead ffs,
what else?

does this place have it's own cohort of zombies? Burial would fit the bill i guess, slavering and hauntologous, symbolically representing something that it maybe wasn't apparent initially, shambling onwards

as someone mentioned in another thread, a tune like 7 nations army has taken on a life of it's own on the terraces

can you imagine having songwriting credits on a zombie album, royalties rolling in even 40 years later? actually, probably both a blessing and curse: nice way to generate ongoing income but probably also a past accomplishment that an artist will never top, forever a reminder that they're no longer as successful as they used to be.
