draw this out for me a little more

Half sincere substitutes for 'autistic'. I do think Media and Capital and The Man encourage 'autistic' tendencies, like it does depression, but you get into shakey ground as both can be a grouping of behavioral tendencies and also medical diagnoses and maladies

@other_life - I didn't mean you, you're cool in my opinion, but I'm confused why "spazz" and "tard" are accepted by people younger than me, when I know they are offensive and hurtful terms... I'm confused...

this feels a little more tenable to me, yeah.
i didn't mean to hijack this thread to discuss Psychiatric Hegemony/The Roots of Cognitive Divergence-Disability

i guess i did kind of come into a thread about something that bothers me to advertise a thread about something i'm interested in/want to be engaged on at first but that's literally Different

It's a reaction against pc culture and over zealous liberalism. The idea is that these terms can be used seperate from the hate, not that I really agree.

Transsocial

but these are all positive descriptors that most autistics with enough Mochin/Binah would identify with; logo is literally just a crank. there's no need to bring any of that into it, is my point. a crank is a crank is a crank

i use 'retard/retarded' and 'fag' out of, again, frustration and exasperation more than i ought to [which would be never; it is not the way of the Hasid/friend of Christ] and on the basis of Ressentiment 🚬 feel like i've 'earned' the right to do so via gay and disabled experiences [including discrimination/harassment on either basis]

being a Young Conservative/Reactionary Crank is literally not the way to fight liberalism [but just how [or if this is desirable] is the million dollar question]

the liberalism of the Democratic Party-Labour Consensus and of U.S. Civics Classes is not the only liberalism there is. there were socialist and radical-democratic and anti-colonial and revolutionary liberalisms that were stronger, once [ie, in the 19th century]. i'm only about 65% of the way convinced that to Combat Liberalism is the correct approach, and if we should not rather develop/re-articulate a Combat Liberalism [ie, a Liberalism-For-Combat-Purposes]

Its more that he's obsessive and peculiar and seemingly playing by his own set of social rules with misunderstandings of general decorum. (which I get is a very reductive understanding of autism.) Aside from whether autism is the right term, it is interesting that our generation exalt and relate to many types that could be labeled (however erroneously) 'autistic'- some of them even referring to themselves as autistic. Like would delueze write 'capitalism and autism' in 2021?

Ok, so again, explain to an old man - what's the difference between "PC" and "woke"?

I'm incredibly politically naive, but what's wrong with being "liberal"? When I was young it meant something along the lines of "live and let live"? Correct me if I'm wrong, should I be using another term for "I don't give a fuck what you do?"

deleuze and guatarri would have maybe written 'capitalism and autism' had they lived to see and write in the 21st century but it would be a substantially different set of books than their work on schizophrenia because autism is institutionally discriminated against in very different ways and the Positive self-conception of the autistic that can be weaponised for theory is Mad Different from that of the schizophrenic.

this is what i'm trying to get at, is that the vulgar-marxist [and from there larouchite] polemical definition of liberalism (as dominant and pacifying ideology of capitalism) is very different from the common-sense connotations it has, especially for the generation of my parents and the generations preceding them.

and what i'm trying to get at is that perhaps the common-sense definition is truer to different Liberalisms than the Marcyite-New Communist-Alphabet Soup definition (which perhaps only describes one angle of the surface)

Pc/woke I was using as one in the same. And Im using liberal in the political sense, not in as in the general ethos. The young ppl see liberal politicians use of wokeness as a shallow concession for, say, lack of health care reform and constant overseas conflict. Like the republicans drop bombs, and the democrats drop bombs with rainbow flags on them

this is an insight in which is a self-evident aspect of truth from which the Kantbot Nexus [it's like the Dissensus Consensus or the Library of Heaven, see...] and milieu adjacent draw the wildest conclusions, whether towards reactionary ends ['and therefore poppers are six degrees removed from pinochet, homofascist'] or overweening radical phraseology ['and therefore We Need You To Help Us Build the Party']
