is not like other people
perhaps alone among dissensus posters i have actually bothered to listen to some of this stuff. track 1 is what i assume "cloud rap" sounds like, would be ideal for a scene in a film where the hero/heroine is wasted and walks slow and oblivious through a crowd of dancers to the exit. then we're off into 808s n heartbreaks, by track 6 the melodies had started to sound like kids tv to my ears. good songwriting and programming overall

the overall sound makes me wonder if BUUM is aware of the book "Neon Screams", a polemical manifesto that lays out autotuned pop as the revolutionary musical form of the future? Remarkably, this book is the début from a new writer, previously completely unknown, who has emerged from literally nowhere, never having published so much as a tweet before in his entire career.
