It would seem that offshore accounts have nothing on cold storage crypto wallets, in terms of under-the-radar and out-of-the-jurisdiction financial strategy.

Plus these blockchains seem to transcend national boundaries, perhaps even in legal terms but I don’t know there.

I do know that Gensler at the SEC personally considers some blockchains to be sufficiently decentralized so as to disqualify their native currency as securities, thus sparing them from regulation to some degree. But I don’t know about how the more centralized ones are considered legally, as legal entities that definitively incorporated in this or that jurisdiction.

Is there a way, in that collab notebook, to input a custom noise sheet?

edit: typo fix from "s" to "a"

the GAN I use can take "noise prompt seeds" and "noise prompt weights" as arguments, but it would require writing a new function to add a custom noise sheet - I'm aiming to make my own codebook to add some functionality ( in reality I've seen some other code which I can steal ) so custom noise is now on the "feature list"...

Is there any way to alter parameters while maintaining the iterative continuity? Maybe in a more manual way, like riding out the initial parameters to produce 20 images, then restarting and using those images as input for a new run with different parameters? I’d like to be able to steer a narrative, one way or the other.

While maintaining aesthetic continuity, rather than the abrupt aesthetic shifts that would result from stitching together two independent sequences from different runs altogether.

that's something I would like to see, to be able to intervene and "steer" the GAN while it's working - there's been times that the majority of the image is sort of OK but then there's been an annoying feature that I would like to be able to tell the AI "lose that!"

I wonder if you feed it a set of images generated by a previous run, if the initial image of this run will resemble the previous images.

that's the fun of it - the experimentation! I know that both @catalog and myself have taken an image generated by one GAN ( StyleGAN ) and fed it into VQGAN - there's so much to play with...

@Clinamenic last night I had a thought that "Toward a Mythos of Extropy" would make a great album title for a prog rock or metal band and went ahead and made the GAN generate some fake LP covers..

In the top one you can see it trying to visually approximate the word “clinamenic”

I've actually done one which was originally posted in the "treeshagging" thread - but happy to do more - any text prompts in mind?

maybe add lithograph or etching?

Id like to see how the GAN recreates images like this

You could also go down a lettrist route, by using prompts like

't' | 'g' | 'e'

etc. and watch how these letters warp and transform and maybe settle into equilibria.
