Women who can ROCK

Anarchicks are all girls I should have said I guess in case it's not obvious. My friend is the drummer and people say that she is good, recently she has kinda been pinched or borrowed by a more successful but, from what I have heard, far less interesting band called Legendary Tiger Men. I guess she is their tour drummer, maybe more but it's cool that she is still playing with this lot cos, as well as being better, they are a band who grew up organically from mates I think, like you're supposed to, not like PSG coming and signing you cos you're a star.
In that analogy Tiger Men somehow became PSG which is completely ludicrous of course, but they do have a tv advet for their tour - I was quite surprised to suddenly see her pop up on telly. But it was a nice surprise cos, contrary to the song, I do like to see my friends doing well.

Also saw L.A. Witch there, and I spoke with the singer afterward and found out we were merely different generations in the same neighborhood social pool.

edit: both from the San Fernando Valley, speaking at a show in the lower east side of Manhattan. Might be able to find the photo we took.

I've seen this lot in London by chance invitation, very David Lynch desert sounding

if anything in this thread rocks harder than that Hedvig Mollestad track I posted, please point it out (y)

the premise of this thread makes me cringe quite hard but I spent the 90s being into female-led indie/rock and forget that there's a certain audience not used to women being in guitar bands
