Looks great so far, thanks!

Just remembered I have a Kindle that I never use and probably still works so I could read some of these on there, much better than off a mobile screen.

Just ordered a 2nd hand copy of poems for the millennium vol. 1 for €12.47 off Amazon, so happy.

I hope the previous owner hasn't scribbled all over it

Discovered that screenshotting off Google books is by far the best way to steal and share poems on the internet - copy and pasting off poetry foundation or whatever just won't do. Next best thing to having the actual book imo.

Don't really understand the middle part of this one, can't quite unpack it, but I can relate to the cynicism of the first and last lines.

Can anyone help?

Yeah I do, I like creeley in general. I enjoy his directness which he deploys across interesting schemes. He's like Olson, but more intimate

I really like the ones in the NAP anthology by him, but that's all I've read.

The middle section of that one I just shared has me flummoxed but I'll keep wrestling with it I suppose.

One of the best discoveries for me from the New American Poetry anthology has been Larry Eigner. I just ordered his selected poems, and there's a fair bit floating around on the net to read and they're all really short so I'll post some up. Anyone else into him? Seems like a major artist to me that should be more well known (or maybe he is, I don't know)
