I was thinking about this watching some tennis match recently, djokovic v that American kid, and I pondered how feasible it would be to rehearse a basic tempo and narrative for a tennis match, so as to milk the spectacle.

I don’t know anything about the OJ trial, but speaking generically I’d say that an opportunity to capitalize on spectacle is bound to have its opportunists.
I was thinking the moment Big Media meets Big Crime. I was watching trevor moore clips after he died ad he said one of the first things he thought on 9/11 was that 'this ig going to be bigger than OJ' which I feels is synecdoche for what Im gesturing at

Ah I see, how the spectacle-conditioned mind bypasses the more humane concerns and goes straight to the consumption and aesthetics of intriguing and fascinating content.

Saw her on the news tonight at a fish fry. I ordered a Michelob Golden Light, a medium dinner salad (blue cheese dressing), and onion rings. My party had cod.

i remember my first encounter with a it, at an american style burger van called Dinos, in Swanage, Dorset. This would have been maybe late 80s early 90s. they served chips and dips, a revolutionary concept for England at the time which was just emerging from the rationing era. You got 5 dips (American style excess, dizzying abundance and variety). one of them was blue cheese and it changed my life. i've been searching for that specific taste ever since.

melted blue cheese dip, we don't do it here. fact. weirdly, i had it quite a lot in Irish B&Bs around the ring of kerry. it was part of a breakfast called something like "blue cheese surprise".
