It's harder to do now, I think?

A friend was a 60s drop out and is now struggling with rent and infirmity. He does OK and is great company, but that isn't the future I want for myself.

bit easier to drop out in literally any other point in history apart from now. if you're skint now, you're basically a target for the state and criminlised at every opportunity. it's not like the 80s when you could literally live on the dole for ages and not have to do owt.

the recent crackdown on video games by the CCP is an attempt to stop those wasters like Zhang from playing computer games all day..
