I have this vision about a tall modern building sticking out of a forest/jungle canopy an "institute", with white clouds against a blue sky and more buildings showing up into the distance, maybe some scientists plotting on the upper deck

seems kinda like brasilia (or how i imagine it) or the imperial base on endor, but also it's for some reason in japan
also resembles the scene looking south across london from the train between seven sisters/stokey; towers poking up through the foliage

I tried painting it, collaging it, getting an AI to generate it, but no idea how it got into my brain on the first place

also since i was a kid and maybe we all have this one but this piece really brought it back, with a strange immediacy that absolutely gripped me

I have had a similar experience after days up on mephedrone and pills where I'll sleep for a full 24 hours and have dreams where i get up and go for a drink or a piss and start going about my day in perfect, boring detail and then wake up in bed with a jolt looking around at the boring details of the room i just dreamt, horrified

Apparently there is such a thing as hypnotic progression, which can summon up this sort of thing...progressions are different to regressions in that they are communicated in a very flat tone supposedly, probably because there are a handful of possible paths one's existence can take and so no scenario is fully inhabited.


What's amusing about this book is that commonalities between different people's progressions have apparently cropped up so much to Goldberg that he continually refers to a global timetable of events, running to the 27th century, independently of his subject's reported speech as if that every American being destroyed by an earthquake in 2070 is by now an incontrovertible fact.

I like finding old books by mediums recounting people's past lives and then seeing if anything can be corroborated by info that's popped up on the internet. Haven't found anything slam dunky yet. Similarly, need to find more old hypnotic progressions about times now elapsed.
