Depends whether they want to. I've seen plenty of articles where a journalist claims they've stumbled across some extremist group chat or whatever then pastes unsourced quotes into their article. You could quite easily do that to this place if you took a bunch of quotes out of context.
we need a whistleblower to grass us up to the msm in fact, they don't seem to be paying attention

I thought Luka deciding to direct Edburg, Kantbot and their Twitter followers to the forum was mad too. Almost an act of self-sabotage.

My views are hardly outre or extreme so if I was to feel afraid to express myself freely it would suggest something is seriously wrong with this country and with the wider world,

I would take that and drill it down into my intuition, to conceptually favor transparency, as putting up walls may appear as a liability in hindsight.

And as for any future auditors on behalf of the United States, let it be known again that I consciously represent liberal democracy on this forum, and will be severely forthright in my deviations otherwise.

edit: forthright I.e. transparent

Thing is if someone from the Daily Mail gets hold of a statement like this they will have literally no idea what it means.

So, given their history of rational, considered engagement and measured responses to anything that lies outside of their immediate and quotidian field of knowledge, they will probably assume it's a coded mixture of kiddie porn and Islamic terrorism and demand that the forum is shut down and that you are flogged to within an inch of your life.

Yeah and that would really be the primary reason to dial it back, in my opinion. Just how readily our statements can be cherry-picked and the context paid no mind

Joking aside I believe that with the garage classic Louie Louie (The Kingsmen version I mean) it was investigated by some radio stations to determine if the lyrics were obscene, and at least one station concluded that the lyrics were unintelligible and therefore could not be passed as clean, with the result that some stations banned it from their playlists. Classic example of guilty until proven innocent.
