Anyone particularly bothered by the recent Labour attack ads or discussion around them?

I thought that they were fucking terrible and this is coming from someone who's probably more inclined to defend Starmer than anyone else here. There was a bit of panicked back and forth "this wasn't approved by higher ups" going on at one point last week. They just seem cheap and crass and if this is going to be one of their "big moves" kinda indicates not much strategic brain at work.
