American cigs don’t come in flat packs like dunhill, really stand out here.

You're fucking mad mate. It's only been approved for children because it removes liability from adults. No health benefit for him or anyone else and a non trivial risk of myocarditis that we know about, who knows what that we don't.

Getting the seven year old vacxed tomorrow. Have mixed feelings about it tbh, but I'm more concerned about him having to still wear a mask all day every day at school.
Couldn't a lot of that sort of thing be avoided by just ventilating schools properly?

Rate of incidence of the order of 1 in 100,000 for the Pfizer jab.

Back in your box, fool.

You would think. But then one problem here is that in summer it's well above 30 degrees every day so without the Aircon on, and therefore windows closed, it's horribly uncomfortable. Then they have a mask clamped on their face all day - perfect breeding ground for diseases surely, aside from all the other problems with little kids and teachers wearing masks all day)

All that bothers me more than getting him vaxxed, especially as it looks like they're gonna be continuing with the masks in schools...forever?

It's back to compulsory mask wearing in the street here too now, but this time round a lot less people give a fuck about it.

Maybe. Like I said, I have mixed feelings myself. I doubt I'd ever be 100 percent sure of any decision I take, either way. I don't think I'm 'mad' though, or at least no more than anyone else.

My son hasn't seen his English grandparents in nearly 3 years so I've got stuff like that to think about too. I am not looking forward to the massive ballache and expense and paranoia of travelling right now, who knows what regulations they're gonna bring in by the time I (hopefully) make it over there this summer?

Possibly, but it's mad to put any faith in the authorities on this one. No point pussyfooting around. Vax does not stop infection, prevent transmission, and kids do not get seriously ill with COVID. Totally false sense of security that could do more harm than good. Funny kind of travel pass.
