The WHO can change what they say at any point depending on what is politically expedient. I knows cos Shaka told me and he knows how the WHO works
the WHO modeled its decision-making processes and overall approach to life and philosophy from ECW

Particularly as the rich see all disease as something poor people spread
Relatedly, in Portugal in the 90s they changed the drug laws because the situation had got so bad it was affecting everyone, rich and poor alike. In the UK everyone knows drug policy makes no sense and basically doesn't work - but the pearl clutching middle and upper classes who aren't really affected have a resistance to any changes that look like a softening of the stance - decriminalisation, community service, needle exchange, education etc - which completely overwhelms any agitation for a sensible drug policy that is only gonna help poor people anyway.

Like my mate that hates the poor. We walked into a pub the other day, and he was like, Nah, this looks like the sort of place where theyve got corona and I thought, hang on, you had it yourself about three weeks ago lmao
Ha what a cunt!

Kinda frustrating that this so obviously a) true b) hugely morally wrong and c) ultimately bad for everyone

They view poverty as a disease and they are terrified it can be caught

That's about the most you can say about it
I actually wasn't joking... well, the comment was a joke obviously but I like it.. I just wish it did more with the sneaky mysterious groove it has...
This is literally the conversation I had in my head with myself; pĺIt's cool... but why nothing more? You could play something else at the same time... then can you really say that a tune is good if you need to play something over it to make it interesting?

yeah this was one of the bits and pieces that made me think i was into dubstep, now that i think back on it. when really its a dubstep-adjacent curiosity. but we didn't know that at the time. or i didn't. weirdly i remember it being slower. darkstar really went off the boil i think but i liked the early bits before their first album.

I don't have either record though... I should have the Gilbert one but after some horrible discogs/post/paypal saga that ended with some incredibly unreasonable German seller losing his rag and his money... well, I don't have the record and I've told enough stories today, was satisfying to see a twat reap the rewards of his twattishness though.
Or as my brother always says "there is nothing so satisfying as to cheat a cheat"
