Thx but I never need exonerating—I heard a Polachek song playing at Newark Airport, that's all I ever needed to know
that kinda proves our original point though. that polachek is a fake thing forced upon us from above to make other wise boring institutions fundamentally incapable of identifying whats cool seem hip. Tik tok is naturally outside this system as its core demographic is the youth, pedos, and china

This fundamentally misunderstands the dynamics of corporate marketing b/c it views the world with an "us v them" anti-capitalist mentality where it's "the people" against "the corporations"

The Newark snack stand has no interest in "pushing a cultural agenda."

Their programming is dictated bottom-up rather than vice-versa

Snack vendors chase trends, rather than make them

no youve misunderstood our point. its not about a man behind the curtain. its about cybernetics. its in the water like flouride. its about the culture biting its tail, the rocket gone ballistic. there is no bottom up to distinguish from the top down. corporations are people and people are corporations. theres no distinguishing you from the newark snack stand gus, thats what were trying to tell you.

Corpsey

bandz ahoy
I need to listen to the Weeknd album properly, at high volume. I wasn't taken with it at first.

I do find it a bit depressing how a lot of music (even the good stuff) is now a pastiche of some old thing or other.

But that's news to nobody!

@Corpsey thisll cheer you up... it acknowledges the fleeting effervescence of life, consciousness, feeling... while also reveling in it

That's the problem with straying too close to someone else's territory. Best to keep it vague and suggestive.
