I have a feeling we've passed each other on the Angelino streets before, you were with friends walking the sidewalk through the pretty, green parts of inland Venice; I crossed the street walking to my car, popped the hood obscuring my view, you turned the corner, that was it.

one of the various ways you can complicate this stuff is to ask how good we are at acting. which why i mentioned listening to that recording of my voice and realising what i thought i was doing i wasnt doing. we all know a 'text' will contain all sorts of signals and information the not consciously put there by the author
