i love these threads, like "jungle is wicked" for example, or "'94 jungle is the best" etc hearing all these tracks for the first time with no nostalgia just pure banging wickedness

I've came to the conclusion a lot of Jungle is depressive music so nice to get a mix of genres. Thank you. I'm not really the junglist I used to be when I was lot angrier.

Motorhead - Overkill

3 minutes in and it breaks down, Philthy Phil pummels the double kick drums, Lemmy reprises the baseline, Fast Eddie freaks out for a minute, another false ending and the amphetamine kicks in

i love that this band got together because they shared the same speed dealer

I'm pretty sure Lemmy learnt about breakdowns during his stint with Hawkwind

when white doves were the drug of choice; strobes flashing, dry ice pumping, techno pounding, a crusty punk turns and says to me "this is just Hawkwind, innit?'
