Addicting is a word I've started seeing these last few years - is it different from addictive?

It is one of the nonsenses of @luka's English language with its bogus present tenses. And the subjective predicates always coming in the beginning or the middle, and not logically at the end, like agglutenative supremacy.

In Turkish you say addict-one becomes. Perfectly logical! Addict-one canbecome. addictwas. addict didnotbecomeI. Addict inbecoming old addictofmine disappeared.

Book'The read(can?) No need to say can you read the book. kitabi oku/okusana, two words. just keep adding bits to make words.

What kind of involved language is that! Orwell was a complete foolish blockhead in not understanding the true deficiency of English. In Turkish one cannot invent newspeak, it is logically impossible! to say double plus good in turkish, it would be iki arti iki iyi, which would not only mean quadrupleplusgood, but it would make good ranked in such a way that iyi could easily be used as a synonym for absolutely terrible!

Also, I can easily construct involved sentences out of one word. Uzlaştıramaksızlıktan = that which I was unable to successfully harmonise.

Or to even show how neat I can be. Uzlaştıramaksızlıktan terakkiperverliğe mensup olamadım. that which I was unable to successfully harmonise resulted in my incapability to become of those who are lovers of progress.
