I'm feeling okay now, thanks - got poleaxed by a migraine a few weeks ago...takes me ages to recover from them but Neuromind (lol) megadose vitamin supplements have helped a lot.

I have one salient post-Covid 'long-Covid' symptom: when I need to eat I really, really, really need to eat. Still don't feel much like beer either. I think it's still in me.

yeh some viruses stick around indefinitely isnt it e.g. veruccas

i wonder about how the covid symptoms play out the virus's strategy - i mean does losing taste/smell maybe somehow help it pass from us/bats to other bats or other species? or maybe the virus wants them to reduce feeding or what? that symptom has been dropped from latest updates tho so maybe it has done its job

obvs the latest versions have gone for stealth and transmissability over ouright murderous symptoms - that's also useful to the virus

Me and the wife just tested positive as well. She had a test cos she was coughing at night, then it hadn't shifted by this eve. So both took tests and waddaya know.

Should say that we are both pretty OK with it cos it means we don't have to go to work for at least a week and at the moment feel totally fine.

Hopefully will continue this way and not get really rough.

Almost a relief tbh

Yeah, we've said it, the only way throughout history is for the plague to become endemic rather than epidemic.

Im just hoping the 3 jabs have been worth it.

i had cold symptoms for 2 weeks just before the omicron broke, didn't get tested as i assumed it was a common cold, i've had 3 jabs

My plans this week - play squash with Charlie, then on Wednesday meet my friend Ricardo (and others) at my friend Fred's restaurant before going to DJ at Le Baron, then on Saturday going to a birthday party for Jussi on the beach in Sintra.
But... squash is out cos Charlie got Corona, then Ricardo says he can't come out cos he got it too... message yesterday from Jussi saying party looks doubtful cos he got Corona and just now I'm about to head out to the restaurant and Fred messages to say ti's closed cos he's got the fucking lurgy too!
