yeah that might have been the smell i'm talking about. it happened in the subway station a month or so ago as well, the same smell. i don't know what else it could be, it's not weed and its not fags. i've seen plenty of people smoking crack on the street in san fran (its the tinfoil one isn't it) but i guess you're only going to notice the smell in enclosed places

where I live there used to be a lot of kit kat chocolate bars on the floor, people would buy them for the tinfoil, throw the chocolate away

oh shit right. i've been telling people the wrong thing for ages. walking down one street in particular in the tenderloin was really....i don't know how to describe it, i hadn't seen that before, whole long street taken over by people taking smack (and not crack as i thought)

I'm a bit drunk, and hastily deleted the "tinfoil = smack smoking" post, but remembered the time I went into the bin cupboard in my block and there was a scene that I could reconstruct through imagination - an improvised crack pipe constructed from a milk bottle, a biro pen, and some tin foil for the bowl, and, on the floor, an almost empty suitcase, except it was full of piss - someone had a 'party', yeah, good times

one of my friends, who may have had "struggles" at some points, once commented on how sad it is that the "best times" / "peak moments" / "highlights" of someone's life can be conducted in a bin cupboard

but, I suppose I associate glass with meth & crack, tinfoil for smoking smack, but I suppose you make do depending on the circumstances

edit: so yeah, you may have seen people smoking crack in SF, from what I've seen on skid row & SF videos crack and meth seem pretty popular

Injecting crack is completely insane cos it can solidify again in the vein...

one of my favourite stories is about one of my, sadly, dearly departed, friends who was preparing their shot of amphetamine sulphate, and drew the water from a recently boiled kettle... owww!

Cos they mix in baking soda or whatever it is to cook it into a solid lump and then they break that into bits which they sell for, say, a tenner each. The baking soda is the agent that makes it into a rock but it also dilutes it so essentially you are buying a mix of cocaine and something else.
I dunno how many "good" rocks you can make from a gram. Depends how strong they want to make it vs how far they want to stretch out the product I guess.

Never done it personally but loads of lads on the tools got into it 2019, serious benders, got a bit sticky for some of them

i'm heading to kingston soon (this thread is going to have a lot of statements like this, i'm warning you, if you think its showing off you need to get out this thread now, it's not, or at least that's not the intention, i would find it gross and annoying too if it was someone else i think).

i think there's still a corona curfew so doubt i'll be able to see much of the musical action but if anyone has any suggestions i'm all ears.
