listened to a bit of it yesterday, my brain wasn't very tuned into it, there were a few too many pop elements that i'm not into which was a barrier. in general male falsetto, especially sexy male falsetto, is something that is offputting to me. i think it's the kind of thing that could click eventually though with a few more listens.

one of the good things about the eighties R&B this is ostensibly paying homage too (but its not really) is its economy of means. this is a meandering mess.

Some of the beatless bits are tangerine dream like but prog rock is a stretch. The rockier bits like sacrifice and less than zero aren’t the best bits

It’s like when Barry swam against the tide with drill for ages, now the naysayers are now lapping up neon screams. Me and corpsey will co write the book on dawn fm

Luke trying to piss on the one bit of pleasure me and jack have at the moment the sadistic shit
i was idly thinking today about the pleasure of spoiling other peoples pleasure. i was wondering if its more pleasureable than pleasure itself.

It’s something I banned myself from a while back. I’m quite resentful when I look back on some of the gatekeepers I looked up to as a youth

i wonder if you can spoil something for someone if they dont already secretly know its bad. craner have never suceeded in poisoning jamiroquai for Corpsey despite his unflagging efforts for example.

not a huge amount but he mentions them in the book even though Joe Muggs says he doesn't. we both like the one where you mime stabbing a fallen opp multiple times while they lie on the ground.
